Twinkies | Austin Holiday Photographer

On Sunday, I had my 2nd round of Holiday Mini Sessions! The plan was to meet at Mayfield, but when we got there, a wedding was about to take place! The entire park was reserved which meant that my holiday mini sessions had to take place somewhere else! I had 3 (out of 4) families scheduled that afternoon and we went through 2 other venue changes before deciding on our final location! Craziness! I have the most awesome clients who handled the last-minute changes seemlingly so well.:)I really love the new venue we ended up at though! Really a perfect setting for “Holiday” portraits as you will see!

The first family I met was the beautiful “D” family – with their adorable twinkies who you might remember if you read my blog faithfully! It was so fun seeing them again and trying extra hard to get smiles out of Miss “T” – the more serious twink. Miss “L” on the other hand would crack up every time you toss your hair from one side to the other (a little trick her mommy taught me!) Too cute! Enjoy your sneaks!!

3 Sweet Girls | Austin Family Photographer

About 2-3 times a year, I will have a newborn session out of my home for families who live too far for me to travel. This adorable family came to my house last week for their 3rd daughter’s newborn session. These girls are 6, 2 and 1 week old. While mom was feeding baby “E”, I took the two older sisters outside for some individual and big sister portraits. It was a bit windy that day! Enjoy your sneak peek, “H” family!

When it came time for baby sister’s portraits, she fell asleep for a little bit and even gave me a few smiles!

(Kudos to big sister, “M”, who handled baby sister’s “accident” on her jeans with such grace and maturity.:))

Awesome Elle….I love the real smiles! I have been having a hard time getting those lately. Oh, and the baby is PERFECT. I love that hat and pose…beautiful eyes. I love how she is looking right at you! :)

Rock the Hawk | Austin Toddler Photographer

It’s been a year since I last saw the “H” family and boy have these little boys grown! A year ago they didn’t have much hair and now they both can sure rock the hawk! Twins | Austin Newborn Photographer

I am so lucky to be invited to photograph two sets of newborn twins in one month – meet these beautiful twin baby girls, barely 6 lbs a piece, sweet little angels that slept almost the entire session. He’s 3!!! | Austin Child Photographer

Just a quick blog post to say Happy Birthday to my oldest little man who turned 3 years old on November 6th! It was 3 short years ago that I became a mommy and it’s been quite a ride! I love you Hunter! Mommy is so proud of the thoughful, empathetic, energetic, orderly, intelligent boy you have become! You are my pride and joy, my breath of fresh air, my “brain” most of the time – reminding me to grab my purse, wipe up a spill, where I last set down my keys… in this crazy busy season of Holiday Portrait Photography, you help me get from point A to point B without losing my mind completely. I love you little man. And I love how much interest you show towards Mommy’s work, you tell me daily that “when I get older, I be photography like mommy does” – you already take some pretty great pictures with my iphone. Mommy will definitely take you up on your offer to help one day, sweet boy. I love how you still want to hold my hand when you are falling asleep and when you first wake up. I love how you help keep tabs on your brother, you have saved him from hurting himself so many times. Your ability to predict what will happen next amazes me. I love watching you grow up. I love watching you light up at the thought of doing something that interests you. I love your smile. I love your sense of humor. Sometimes I can’t believe your only 3, you seem wise beyond your years. And then most of the time I can’t believe you ARE 3 years old. Where has the time gone? Happy Birthday, Hunny. Mommy loves you so much!!! XXXOOO:)

Sweet Baby | San Antonio Newborn Photographer

Look at this sweet little baby girl sleeping like an angel… perfect in every way. Isn’t she a doll?:)

What these adorable portraits don’t tell you is that for the first 20 minutes of her newborn session, she went potty all over her mommy and daddy 3 seperate times! Her mommy had to go through 3 outfit changes in the first 30 minutes of the session. But all so worth it… look at this sweet smile…
