Here’s a quick sneak peek for the Spain family. I had the privilege of photographing their young family last week – a 3 year old boy, an 18 month old girl and a 3 month old baby girl. A very blessed family! I’m working on all your other proofs – they will be ready by next week!
I’m proofing photos from THREE sessions in the last 8 days so bare with me if you’re still waiting on your sneak peeks – they are coming! But for now, I am taking a short break to show you highlights of our weekend trip to the pumpkin patch…
I was super excited when I saw my friend Andrea, her DH and her adorable twins at the same pumpkin patch! They live in College Station, but were here in Austin for a cancer walk-a-thon fundraiser! We lined up the babies and got some fun pictures!

Adorable Elle! Good luck with the promising new business!!
How fun!!
Those are so cute. I don’t think I realized Hayden had so much hair, he always has a cute little hat on his head. Great shots!!
Going through recent sessions tonight! Here’s a portrait of beautiful 22 month old Miss “C”. Her mom and I are good friends and I invited them over for an impromptu mini session last week! This was my favorite one from that day…

Great, popping color! Very nice photo.
De-lurking to comment on this photo. . . I just love it! What a cute little girl!
I stumbled across your prior blog through a link on someone else’s blog (just whose escapes me now) and got interested because of your lovely photos of your boys AND the fact that your older son is exactly 2 days older than my only nephew.
Anyhoo, I enjoy your work. I even sent a link to this blog to a friend of mine with a 7-month-old son who lives in Austin!
We’re having Our 1st Annual Costume Portrait Party!
We want to capture your little one’s cuteness-factor with a costume quick-take special. They’ll get to trick-or-treat with us a few days early with some goody bags AFTER their pictures have been taken! With quick-takes, space is limited and slots are filled on a first contact/first served basis. All photos will be taken on our white or black backdrops.
ANNOUNCING A CONTEST TOO! (Updated!)
There will be a prize for the best dressed little one that will be decided by my blog readers! I will post all the final costume photos and online poll on the blog on October 31st and you need to recruit all your friends and family to VOTE for your photo! If you win, you will win the hi-res images from your session! *Contest participation is optional – you don’t have to participate if you don’t want to*

What a great idea! Have fun with this!!
What a fun idea! Makes me wish I hadn’t already had halloween photos taken! I’ll pass the info on to my group of friends!
4:00PM would be great! Where do ou live??
Wow Elle,
You have a terrific site. You are awesome with photography. I will make sure that I pass your information on to the two friends I have in Texas. I have followed your story of the boys since you started the blog. I have a tww website. I still have not had any luck on the ttc end but I still love the fact that you have that site for ladies. I will definately keep this site bookmarked and enjoy the photos you show. Seeing these photos makes me really wish we lived in Texas rather than Michigan. I hope that your business continues to go well for you.

Hello guys do you remember the TTC guy who was filmed sleeping? Well yesterday another TTC bus driver, who’s bus was 15 minutes late took his regular 7 minuet ‘donut break’. He left the passengers sitting in the bus. He even threatened the passenger that confronted him! (Digg it to make it viral) -

Thank you Elle! You did a great job! You know I totally didn’t want to do the belly pics, but I’m really glad we did…and we had a lot of fun taking them too! Can’t wait to see more and to take the newborn pics too!
Love ya’!
I absolutely love this bellybaby+big brohter photo!
My photo session with the Fender family was a lot of fun! The boys are so handsome and full of life. They actually have 3 chickens in their suburban backyard! The boys wore themselves out trying to catch the chickens. (Those hens are fast!) During the session, I learned all about “Clone Troopers” (Star Wars) and their clever mom had the boys convinced that a Clone Trooper was inside my camera lens! Thanks to her, I got some great eye contact for a little bit while the boys were on the play gym! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Looking for the “Clone Trooper” in my lens

[...] the best idea I have heard in a long time and it was on photographer Elle Mendenhall’s blog, Elle Bella Photography. It really hit close to home and I am totally going to try it out soon. The mother of the boys [...]
I like these photos. The one of the boys with the chicken (or hen) is really neat. Oh, and I love all the feet. Who doesn’t like little feet!
